Dear M3 Client,
We hereby inform you that all registered organisations with an annual payroll in excess of R500 000.00 per annum, are encouraged to submit a Mandatory Grant application (application to claim 20% of the Skills Development Levy paid to SARS) to the respective SETA for the period 2020/2021 before the 30th of April 2020.
Please be advised that the submission of the Mandatory Grant application will also benefit you for liquor license, B-BBEE and PIVOTAL Grant applications (e.g. funding for Internships, bursaries, Learnerships etc.)
If a Mandatory Grant application is approved by the respective SETA, you as an employer will receive 20% back (on a quarterly basis) of the total levies (SDL) paid for the period to SARS.
The deadline for submissions is APRIL 30th, 2020 with NO extensions.
We often find clients who never apply for discretionary grants and consequently, miss out on getting to get the funding from the SETA to train their employees for NQF aligned qualifications. Application for discretionary grants / funding, is subjected to your company’s workplace skills plan (WSP) submission.
If you would like us to assist you with the submission, please contact Brümilda Bailey at brumilda@m3online.co.za or at 021 863 1444. M3 Human Capital Management will register as an external SDF (Skills Development Facilitator) at the relevant SETA for your company.
The submission of all applications will follow a consultation with the Skills Committee at your company and the gathering of all the relevant documentation.
Please feel free to request a quotation should you require one prior to the commencement of this process.
Please do not hesitate to contact us should you need more information or have any enquiries.

Kind regards,

The M3 Team
